Great coat!Nov 28, 2009

It's November in Chicago. My two German Shorthaired Pointers need to walk...A LOT. Their insatiable need for exercise, no matter whether it's rain, shine or cold, requires me to be outside at all hours, under all weather conditions. Thanks goodness I purchased this jacket! It's impermeable to the icy winds, while light weight and comfortable. Very rain resistant. Looks and feels great also. I highly reccomend this jacket. My pups and I thank Marmot for creating this great product, and Amazon for offering it at such a great price.

I am very pleased with this jacket. I am a fairly active guy, and I perfer to have item that are multipurpose because I do not have enought money to have specialized everything... So, I have used this jacket while bicycling, hiking, and as a "Grab-n-go" for around town. The jacket is windproof, and it keeps me comfortable it all sorts of conditions. Paired with a rain shell, and it becomes a really good insulating layer.
The only thing that I think would make this a perfect jacket is pit-zips and more pockets, but that is a personal preference and nothing against the jacket.

LOVE this jacket, much more subdued styling than The North Face, and better quality. It does attract lint, (duh, fleece) but is super warm and windproof. Buy a good lint roller and head out into the cold...wear a light shirt or sweater underneath and you will be warm. You will like the construction quality and soft material in this jacket. Perfect for windy days.
