Nice Jacket - flattering cutMar 18, 2010

This is a well made jacket. I hate boxy jackets and this one has a very feminine cut, accentuating the waist. The material is soft and nice. My only complaint is the collar. It is really big. Plus there is this weird thing on the back of the collar. It is split down the middle and there is a drawstring coming out of each slit. I guess you are supposed to tie the strings together and let the bow hang down your back. I tried it and didn't really like it. There is no function to it, just an interesting fashion detail I guess. Anyway, I just snipped off the drawstrings and now the collar has a split down the back that is not very noticable. The sleeves are also quite long for me. I flipped them once and they look ok.
It works as a lightweight jacket or can be worn as part of your outfit, like a blazer. I got it in white and it is a great color - very nice with jeans.
