The fabrics in this jacket, especially the liner, are quite comfortable. It breathes well and repels rain. Quite pleased.

Ordered this jacket for a gift for Christmas. I looked at various jackets and different sites for reviews. This jacket was a tie between this and a Patagonia jacket. Bohth got stellar reviews and were in my price range. I ordered this because it was a tab bit cheaper (the steel) and I felt like this would be a better fit. The gift reciepient was a male 6'1, 200 lbs. I ordered the large and it fit right. The jacket has held up well so far in the weather, and has been warm enough to wear just a shirt under it (it's been above average temp) Also held up great in the rain a few night ago.

I used this on a trip to Yellowstone in August. Great in rain and cool weather. Excellent wind breaking capabilities as well. The amazing thing about this jacket is it is very light weight yet provides a lot of warmth. For those that are saying you were in Yellowstone in AUGUST you shouldn't have needed a warm jacket let me say it was in the high 30's so for a Florida boy that's cold. I use it in the rain in Florida and it works great as well. The only downside is I originally ordered an XL but it was tight in the chest and the arm length was a bit short. The XXL fits fine but the arm length is a hair long but that's OK by me. Overall this is a high quality jacket and well worth the price.

Pros: totally waterproof, fairly breathable (for a waterproof raincoat), good wind protection, durable material, can use for outer shell with layering as winter coat (mid-Atlantic region), looks sharp-as-hell!
Cons:
Isn't the most packable raincoat I've had (although it does fold-down)
