I have been wearing this coat every day all winter, perfect light coat to be worn day to day instead of a sweatshirt or fleece. If you are using it for skiing it works great as a base layer. Plenty of pockets with good zippers. A+.

This fleece is by far the best I've owned. The quality and style of this jacket cannot be matched at this price point. I get many compliments on it's appearance.
I has almost every feature you'd want in a basic fleece. The only thing I would add are small buttoned loops at the sleeve ends so they can attach to the inside of a Helly Hansen soft-shell. This jacket replaced a North Face that had that feature. But the Helly Hansen is a better fleece than the North Face primarily in fit. Every North Face I've ever owned required me to get an extra large so the sleeves wouldn't be too short. Having a slim build made the North Face jackets too big in the body. I've had similar experience with other brands as well. Helly Hansen sizes the sleeves very well. They made them a tad longer even in the smaller sizes to accommodate more wearers. I own a Helly Hansen ski jacket and it's sized the same.
The Polartec 200 fabric is warm. I had originally wanted a 300 weight fleece but couldn't find one that wasn't ridiculously expensive. The price of this fleece ($70 for L Black) cannot be beat for this level of quality.

helly hansen has great sailing gear and this fleece was a great choice for the spring-the start of the sailing season. warm dry and also light. definaely wind protection and drys fast. awesome

I bought this as a present for my father. He really likes it and says it keeps him warm. Sizing is true with good sleeve length.

My wife bought this for me for Christmas. Great coat that is comfortable and well made. I like the design of the chest pocket for additional storage. Please note that while it is a warm coat, it is definitely not wind proof. However, I don't think they make that claim.
