I was looking for a VERY lightweight and warm jacket for backpacking/camping. What's the worst part of backpacking? It's the weight of the pack. I was advised the Cloudveil Endless Down Jacket was the best. Now that I've used it on my 7 day backpack in the Bitterroots (mountains, Montana), I agree. Very little down shed (unlike another famous brand I've bought), good under rain gear, warm around the neck and the zip pockets are brilliant.
I can't believer I've lugged the heavier outer layers around, when the lightweight Cloudveil is so LIGHT and versatile.
Give me more in other colors!
